Volunteers Sought for 6TH Annual Operation Weatherization
This one-day event is scheduled for Saturday, November 3
MADISON COUNTY- United Way is seeking volunteers to assist targeted low income families in Anderson, Alexandria, Elwood, Frankton, and Pendleton with home energy saving projects during the 6th Annual Operation Weatherization. This one-day event scheduled for Saturday, November 3 is presented by Vectren. Corporate volunteers, civic groups, families and individuals can register now through – October 19 to assist with the one-day project.

Volunteers work in teams at selected energy inefficient homes in Anderson, Alexandria, Elwood, Frankton, and Pendleton, completing simple weatherization tasks such as caulking, weather stripping and plastic wrapping windows.
