Severe Storm Spotter Training Scheduled

Severe Storm Spotter Training scheduledThe Madison County Emergency Management and Office of Homeland Security is announcing the 2017 annual Severe Weather Spotter training to be held on March 14, 7:00PM at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino (4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson, IN 46013).

This FREE training is open to all citizens, public safety officials, emergency responders, elected officials and StormNet spotters. The National Weather Service will be our guest speaker and they will use actual pictures, and video from historic Indiana storm systems to enance their educational program.  Two lucky attendees will go home with a new All Hazard Weather Alert radio which we will give away during the training program.

We want to recognize and thank Hoosier Park Racing and Casino for hosting this great event in their venue.  Be sure to go early enough so you can enjoy dinner at the casino before training.

Please share this information with your friends, family, co-workers and the public so we can fill the house.
