Rushville’s Riverside Park Amphitheater Presents The Young Dubliners
RUSHVILLE, Ind. (July 26, 2012) – This year’s summer Irish concert will feature the Young Dubliners with Rushville’s own Amish Open Mic Band on Saturday, August 4 at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverside Park Amphitheater in Rushville, located at 100 West Water Street. This event is free to the general public.
About Young Dubliners: Creating signature Celtic-rock sounds together since 2002, the Young Dubliners include Keith Roberts (vocals, guitar) Brendan Holmes (bass, vocals), Bob Boulding (guitar, vocals), Chas Waltz (violin, keyboards, harp, mandolin, vocals) and Dave Ingraham (drums, percussion). The Young Dubliners bring a unique energy on stage as they sing about anything from politics to everyday life. The band creates their original sound to this day by their belief that, “our band is made up in the sum of our parts, and we play as a band, as one.”
About Amish Open Mic Band: Consisting of close friends Troy Herbert, Stan Richards and Marc McCane (Wally), Rushville’s own Amish Open Mic Band is self-described as “unusually hip, casually acoustic,” and will be sure to cover country, blues and rock.
