Ron Barnhart Talks About Plans For Falls Park

Pendleton, Indiana (March 22, 2012) Early today I spoke with the Falls Park Superintendent, Mr. Ron Barnhart, at the Sports Complex here in Pendleton, Indiana. Ron a few minutes to talk about the park board meeting that took place Wednesday evening and the donation made by the Pendleton Lions Club to help restore the large fountain at the park. Ron spoke about some of the ideas that have been presented for the future of the park included a suggestion for an Amphitheater for concerts and other events.

Ron also gave an update on the new Verizon Wireless cell tower that is underway at the Sports Complex that will hopefully be online soon.

The Pendleton Park Board is still taking comments and suggestions for local residents about what they’d like to see for the future ofFallsPark. You can present your ideas and suggestions during their regular monthly meeting which are held the third Wednesday of each month at the Conservation building at6 p.m.
