Madison County Arts Organizations Awarded Indiana Arts Commission Grants

News UpdateMadison County arts organizations were awarded $36,016 of the $128,959 available for Indiana Art Commission region five arts partner grant awards.  Region five includes twelve counties in East Central Indiana:  Adams, Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Jay, Madison, Randolph, Rush, Union, and Wayne. The fiscal grant year beginsJuly 1, 2012.

The Anderson Center for the Arts (organizational support)                              $12,916

Anderson Symphony Orchestra (organizational support)                                 $12,637

Anderson Young Ballet Theatre (organizational support)                                 $6,978

Central Indiana Powwow (Andersontown Powwow & Indian Market)             $1,797

Anderson Area Children’s Choir

$1,688

These grants are made possible by appropriated funds from the Indiana State legislature in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts.
