The National Weather Service is predicting approximately 1-3 inches of snow Friday night into Saturday. Crews have been monitoring weather forecasts and pavement temperatures and brining the roads this week in anticipation of this weekend’s snowfall. Brining roads before snowfall prevent snow and ice from bonding to paved surfaces, enabling easy removal. The first snow of the season typically brings a higher rate of crashes and slide-offs as motorists get re-accustomed to driving in winter weather.
