Mandy’s Wish Remembers Domestic Violence Victim

Plans to continue effort to raise awareness of this frightening crime  that often turns deadly

Anderson, Indiana– Today at Monticello House Diane Wilson of Mandy’s Wish presented checks two checks from their fundraiser held recently in memory of Amanda Wiles whose life was taken as revenge against Amanda’s mother who recently broke up with her former boyfriend.

During the event Diane delivered one check to Alternatives, Inc, in the amount of $9,000.00 and a second check to Dove Harbor for $7,000.00 to help others who may be victims of domestic violence.

In addition to the checks were presented by Diane Wilson during the event on Monday, money raised during the Mandy’s Wish event in Lapel, Indiana also helped the family of Amanda pay for her funeral expenses. The Mandy’s Wish organization has also put forth a $5,000 reward for the capture and conviction of Roy Parmley, the accused killer of Amanda Wiles.

Ricky Rider, a father of another domestic violence victim, Megan Rider, also attended the event on Monday. A spokesperson with Alternatives told Mr. Rider that part of the funds they received today would be made available for a headstone for Megan Rider’s grave site.

The police say the incident took place after a break-up between the mom of Amanda Wiles and Roy Parmley. According to the Madison County, Indiana Sherriff’s office, Parmley took the life of his ex-girlfriend’s daughter in front of the mother at her home inAnderson,Indianaon June 9th for revenge.

As of today the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is still on the hunt for alleged murderer, Roy Parmley.

The police need your help to find Roy Parmley to bring justice and closure for the family and friends Amanda Wiles. If you have information that can help please contact your local law enforcement office.
