City Mulch Give-Away Announced

ANDERSON, IN – Mayor Thomas J. Broderick Jr. announces the City of Anderson Mulch Give- away. As a way of showing appreciation for the recycling efforts of Anderson citizens, the Water Pollution Control Utility will give away mulch to Anderson residents. The mulch that is being given away is the byproduct of recycled tree debris. The give-away begins August 20th.

Residents will need to show their driver’s license or ID card that provides an Anderson address to obtain mulch. The Mulch Give-away is not for resale use or for the purpose of businesses to make a pro it.

This give away is scheduled for the week of August 20th through August 25th. The facility is located at 2000 W. 8th Street at our Yard and Garden Recycling Center/Compost site. This site will be open that week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
