Chocolate Chip Cookies
Richmond, IN. – I have had chocolate chip cookies and I have had chocolate chip cookies but these the yummiest I have ever had! Our and daughter, Lisa, had her friend, Kathy, and her children over for lunch and a swim after church on Sunday. Kathy brought fruit and these wonderful cookies. They are unbelievably delicious! See if you don’t agree these are the best!
Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 1/8 cup shortening ( I use Smart balance)
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 Tbsp milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda dissolved in 5 tsp hot water
4 cups flour
1 16 oz pkg of milk chocolate chips
Whip shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla & milk until fluffy. Add other ingredients except chocolate chips & mix well. Add chocolate chips & mix again. (I use a cookie dough scooper from pampered chef so the cookies are all the same size)Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes on an air bake cookie sheet.
