Cloe is a 1 yr. old Great Dane. She seems to prefer
females. The men that have come to meet her, she did not
seem to take to. She is very high energy and very
strong. She would definitely benefit from obedience
training classes. She is friendly and she loves her
toys. The society is open noon to 5 P.M. Monday through
Saturday, 2 to 4 P.M. Sundays and closed Wednesdays and
holidays. Cost of adopting pets is $100.00. This fee
includes spaying / neutering, age appropriate
vaccinations, heartworm test for dogs over 7 months old,
FIV/FELV test for cats, Rabies for pets over 4 months
old, Bordetella and worming. All dogs are kept on
monthly heartworm prevention. The Madison County Humane
Society, 2219 Crystal St. receives no federal or state
funding and is a nonprofit agency run mostly by
