AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR QUALITY ANNOUNCES MAY BANQUET MEETING

Muncie – The American Society for Quality (ASQ), East Central Indiana, Section 904, is pleased to announce a special banquet meeting for May.  On May 21st at 6:00PM we will be meeting at: Muncie Ivy Tech campus, 4301 S. Cowan Rd. in Muncie - Room 533.  Cost of the banquet is $12 payable at the door.

We are awarding our second ASQ 904 Halmond L. Parks Scholarship to another deserving local high school senior.  This years scholarship recipient is Karen Wegman from La Fontaine.  She will be attending Indiana Wesleyan University in the fall.  ASQ 904 has worked on this scholarship project for many years.  Our funds and efforts make the scholarship possible and the hard work a reality. 

Our speakers for May are from Indiana Wesleyan University .  Our main speaker is George Howell, Associate Dean of Indiana Wesleyan University 's LEAP (Leadership Education for Adult Professionals) program.  He will be speaking on Quality in Education focusing on higher learning accreditation as well as professor and curriculum standards.

ASQ Section 904 is pleased to offer a $500 scholarship to any high school senior again this year.  Please visit our website at http://www.asq904.org/Scholarship.htm for more information and an application.  Last years recipient was Josh Givens who is now attending Purdue University .
